My PR has expired in 28/2/2010.
Is it possible to reapply for my PR now?
I am living in Bangladesh with my wife and children who are all Canadian citizens. My wife has declared herself as a non resident Canadian.
I want to travel to Canada now and the local consulate said that I have to apply for a one way visa. Once I enter Canada and apply for my PR renewal how long will it take for them to reissue the PR card?
You need to apply to renew your pr card in Canada. Best way is to apply for a PRTD. Since your wife is a Canadian citizen, you should have no issue with RO.
If I travel to Canada with a PRTD and apply for the renewal of my PR Card. May I then exit Canada in case of an emergency before the card is reissued? In this situation will the reissued card be mailed to my given Canadian address or do I need to go in person to collect it?
Dear Scylla
Thanx for your response. If they ask me to pick it up in person and at that time I am already outside of Canada then how do I reenter. Do I need to again apply for PRTD? And at that time will I be given a PRTD again?
