Chances of getting a visitor visa to travel with student visa holder who is a partner?

I am applying for a student visa to my wife for fall intake and planning to apply visitor visa to travel with her after her visa approval. At any cost, I have to travel with her to Canada. what are the chances of getting a visitor visa for me? After checking the processing times on the website it is showing a minimum of four months to six months. If anyone is in my situation before please help me. Currently, I am in Australia, my wife is in India and I want to apply visitor visa form here. Any suggestions, please?

Are you travelling with your wife or she is going to Canada on her own first. Why aren’t you applying together & applying for open work permit?Chance of refusal is high as you live in two different countries. For visa, you need to show strongs ties to India unless you are Australian PR. Processing is 7+ months.

I am travelling with her. Consultancies in India suggesting me to apply for work permit or visitor visa after my partner student visa is approved. They suggesting me that student visa will reject if apply together. Yesterday I asked them again about processing times of visiting visa but they said I will get in a month.

Visitor visa are not being processed in one month. Why aren’t you applying for a open work permit. What are you going to do in Canada.

Lot of people suggested me that if I apply open work permit along with my partner student visa application will be rejected. Lot of people suggesting me that launch the visiting visa along with my partner application and apply for open work permit after arriving to Canada.
