Certified true copy

Hey everyone,

I'm a bit confused about certified true copy, it was explained that it is a notarized copy of a document.

Do you think there would be an issue with sending the originals? For Nicaragua there aren't any country specific documents that need to be sent just police record and birth certificate.

We know if we send originals that it won't be sent back but we are fine with that. Do you think sending the original legalized documts would create an issue?

If your documents are in either English or French, you don't need a certified copy anyway. If they aren't you have to get them translated, which would involve a notary anyway, so might as well follow the requirements precisely.
