To send in part 1 of Application for Citizenship of Adopted Person, I need to send in a certified copy of my birth certificate.
I have a photocopy of my long form Ontario birth certificate, that is signed by and stamped by the Deputy Registrar General and says "-certified copy-."
Do I need to get the certified copy of my birth certificate certified as a copy of a copy? I have ordered a new birth certificate to see if it will look different from what I have. I am wondering if I should wait for the new certificate or just send in this photocopy since it says certified copy (even though the certified part is copied as well)?
