The re-evaluation they say it takes 3-4 weeks... today makes exactly 3 weeks that we asked for it... so I'm assuming that we're suppose to have an answer between today and next Tuesday.
I asked because last time I asked a re-evaluation I got an answer after 2 weeks, This time is taking longer but we had the holidays, maybe that's why is taking longer
I asked for reevaluation two days ago. My result was L 12 R 12 W 9 and S 8. I asked my speaking to be re-evaluated. Any idea that having two 12 might have effects on raters to give me one point for speaking?
I did not tried IELTS. I'm kinda afraid of switching because I would have to deal with a hole different model of test, and as I researched, correct me if I'm wrong please, the writing part is a little harder on IELTS (and this is my most problematic part).
I'm kinda lost with this right now I'm trying to decide if I try CELPIP again or if I should be brave and go for IELTS lol.

Well, I took CELPIP because I have terrible handwriting lol and my Wife took both CELPIP and IELTS, she got similar scores on both but eventually she retook the IELTS a couple of times until she got CLB9.
For IELTS Writing vs CELPIP I would say both are tough to get clb9 but the Speaking is much better in IELTS as you get to talk to a human, whereas on CELPIP is to a computer and the tasks they put you are....weirder.
I have the contact of an IELTS and CELPIP tutor who helped me get a 9 on Writing if it interest you.
