Hello, I want to ask regarding CEC wage requirement. For example, I am working in a local church in London ON as a pastor and getting paid $1000 while working about more than 30 hours because the church is too small and I should prepare lots of thins for sermons and small group meetings. The senior pastor allowed me to give me all documents that I need. During verifying all information from IRCC, It has said "there is no minimum wage requirment". Here is my question. Is it available to be qualified, if I get paid $1000 per month with working 30 hours per week?? Its hourly wage would be approximately $8. I am afraid of a refusal from IRCC. Thank you for your answer.

You're not even being paid minimum wage so either you can't claim the full 30 hours per week or they are paying you below minimum wage (which is illegal). Either way, it won't work for CEC.

It seems like you are getting a stipend, not being paid by the hour but a limp sum per month. What does your T4 and monthly pay receipt state? Do you have taxes and CPP deducted? Here is the median wage for your NOC in Ontario.
