I just got an email saying "To continue processing your application, you must link your application to an online account." But I already have a profile on CIC website. Is this spam? email is from Client-update-mise-a-jour@cic.gc.ca

I don't know my VO but my AOR is Sept 22. It's weird because my UCI doesn't match the one in the email.

I did, I applied but then asked for a refund because I thought CEC was going to be faster. So I got my refund and thought the application was withdrawn but apparently not and now they are checking my background and have asked me to link the application to my profile.

Yeah I figured, now my question is, I had issued a refund, they gave the money back but are still processing my application, and it's moving faster than my CEC. Doesn't make sense.

How do you know what your VO is?

I had requested GCMS notes in February- that confirmed the VO as Edmonton
