Guys, anyone in this group landed in Canada recently?. May I know what is the procedure and docs needed post covid. How abt vaccine certificate? Please help..

Yes, you need to fill out the arriveCan app and upload your vaccine proof there. You also need to enter your quarantine plan. At the border they just asked to see my arriveCan receipt.

Guys do you have a feeling that most PPRs for outlands are released on Tuesday and Wed. Just an observation from past data for the last 2 months.

Hi guys! Question:
When I applied for PR I was inland with a valid WP, I then left Canada (for a reason) before WP expired and applied for the entrance visa (striker for passport). Obviously, they did not process my entrance on time and my WP expired. So today I received a request in the PR application to confirm my residential address. Do you think they asking this because they noticed I'm not in Canada anymore? I don't think other applicants received such requests...

Hi, we have recieved request letter to send photocopies of our passports etc. Uk outland.

Anyone help with how we pay for couriers and return and what address we send the payments to etc. A tad confusing. Cheers

Just send all your docs to the VAC London and they will contact you in a weeks time outlining the fees you need to pay. Just bank transfer then. They provide all the details.

congrats, thanks for the update. What's your NOC code? Also single applicant or with dependents? Asking because trying to understand the pattern because they are picking files without any order so must be some correlation of NOCs. Might be targeting particular NOCs that the govt needs some sort.

Got an email saying we had a message in our account on Tuesday. It was a request letter online.

Hii sorry for the delay. I am from Argentina, left Canada in 2019 and applied for a tourist visa just before covid started. On january 2021 they approved my tourist visa maybe because of that my BG was pretty recent..? not sure if that had something to do with the PR timing but maybe that helped!

True that, I received my letter request for passport on a tuesday.

Send the package to the nearest VFS with all the required documents. I didn't pay upfront and they emailed me when they received the package. I had a few questions because their website indicates a courier fee is only required for actual passports to be returned. I sent them a photocopy so didn't need that returned. lol They advised the return courier would also include a hardcopy of COPR. As for the transmission fee, if you completed Biometrics as part of your application then you've already paid for it. There's a white sticker on the back of the passport which they asked for as proof.

I paid the fee via online banking and sent them a screenshot of the confirmation. I also included a picture of the Biometrics sticker. They then processed my package and sent it to IRCC's London office.

I paid the transmission fee and the courier fee and printed out the screenshot of my online banking payment as proof. They asked me to send this proof in with the rest of the documents.

Ok so they got back to me. Theyre having trouble with DHL apparently. So theyre asking us to send it via our own couriers for the time being. I imagine this will be the same for all uk outland.

Daft question maybe. But does our medicals expiry date start from medicals taken or from when they are passed on our application.
