This is good option, but after reaching there once the web form is update not sure again how many months will they take. Instead of family you first travel and stay there for 3 to 4 months and if there is any progress you can ask your family to travel. Even i am also planning to travel with work permit.

Thank you for your time for my query here in forum. However, I am going to travel with family on November 09th. We will see this is going to helpful or not. We will stay there up to 6 months and will extend the visitor visa stay if required. By staying here in India and keep waiting/hoping has less chances compare to be there in Canada in my opinion. Thank you.

No response. Entered Canada since end of last year with a work permit, updated address to a Canadian address, still waiting for 1st portal email.

Madical -passed
Info sharing - complete
Final -
I can see a finalize application section for documents issuance for us but status as cancelled as on 12th aug 2021.
What I can conclude with this.please help.

Many applicants saw the visa documents cancelled since travel restrictions were not yet removed until September. However, it is just a matter of time before you get a decision.

Just make sure that your medicals and security is passed.

My madical is passed and security is redacted with s.15(1) in gcms .
In Finalize application,I could see copr# and counterfoil# although status is cancelled.
I hope , everything will sort out shortly in sometime..only need a bit of more patience (for myself)
Is there any way sir,I can check in my gcms notes.

Remedical Request in Mar 2021-Passed
No Update Since then.

Applied for GCMS Notes 3rd week of July. It's almost crossing 3 months and haven't heard back about the notes.
Is this the usual waiting time for GCMS Notes these days ?

We were also asked to give ReMedicals back in March 2021 and now I am afraid if I have to take Medicals for the thrid time!
