Mine also expired back in May with no update. But based on GCMS notes I have been approved since October 2020 so I wonder if I will get an extension.

So, in final decision it says approved ?

hey ya'll. I am getting so tired of waiting. I've been considering asking a psychic about when we will get our PPR. haha. Anyway, with my very recent GCMS notes nothing has moved since March. I hope something is done to get us all moving. I want to be able to plan ahead and look for a job very soon!

I just took up a new job. Aug 2020 AOR .CEC Outland.
Also gave second medicals in Mar 2021. Passed.
Should I submit a webform with new job updates now ?

Hello, I just heard they are not issuing any COPR for countries that have restrictions. The justification is that if they issue a visa for you today, the visa might expire before you can complete your landing. So it means the visa office would have to issue the visa again and double the workload.

I applied for Express Entry - CEC. My info is as follows:

-AOR April 2, 2021
-Medical passed April 16, 2021 (upfront)
-Biometrics completed May 10, 2021
-Additional documents review started June 23, 2021 (asked for divorce certificate)

Eligibility and background check are still in progress. I understand that this wont changed until final decision.

Now entire world lifting the travel ban, they are generating the COPR's. If you have any mail or link share to the team members please.

No one knows for sure if they started finalizing outland applications. IRCC never officially communicated this. If you look in the forum a lot of applicants found out by requesting GCMS that their application was approved but on hold due to travel restrictions. But Canada did start allowing COPR holder to land so maybe it will start soon, but no one knows for sure.

When was the video posted? Is it from an official source?

I saw a similar video a while ago. It is an opinion, regardless of how likely it is. The video was just explaining probable rationale as to why outland applicants weren't receiving COPR during the height of the pandemic. However, Canada has recently started to permit entry to outland COPR and, as restrictions continue to ease, will start issuing to other outland applicants... most likely starting with those in Covid Pace, CPCO RFV etc.
