Myself Vigneshwaran Sekar currently residing in India and even I’m a CEC outlander. Right now I got a request from IRCC to update my current residential address and status in canada. But I don’t have any temporary visa and nothing. Am I still eligible and if so, what should I do?
Please guys help me with it!

I think it’s best to ask @legalfalcon. I think once you update your address they will know of your status

You will have to provide the correct address where you are currently located. If you are no longer in Canada, you cannot provide your Canadian address and claim to be in Canada.

If you do so, that is misrepresentation.

Also, some applicants who provide Canadian address when they were not in Canada, have started receiving this letter from IRCC, even after they were sent COPRs.

Right now, IRCC is requested me to submit current residential and status in canada. Where as I’m in India now and waiting for the PR decision. This the whole scenario.Please help me out in this regard. I am worried if I have apply my resident proof in India will this leads to my PR refusal. @legalfalcon and also please suggest me what are the documents should I submit for this.

You have to response to the IRCC message and provide the correct address where you currently are.

In my case, July 15 CEC inland - my CORP was issue this March, 10 - I sent an Webform informing IRCC that Im out of the country now. but once I informed etobicoke office that I am outside Canada, they responded this:

“You were required to be physically present in Canada in order to become a permanent resident. At this time, we will be reversing your status as a permanent residents, back to Foreign Nationals.Only once you are able to re-enter Canada, please contact our office”

What I don’t know is: If I have an expiration day to claim my status back to permanent resident?

if they receive my webform for changing my address. Almost two months waiting
