CEC Outland Applicant

Yesterday they extended the border closure with USA until April 21st. Do you guys think they will actually open up a month from now. Has anyone heard anything about outlanders eventually being able to come into Canada ?

Just got off the phone with an agent. My file was approved and told me to wait for PPR, but given the current circumstances I'm not sure when this will come. I feel like all the excitement that would usually come with this is just not there. I hope we all get good news soon.

I just found this thread. I am CEC Outland (UK).

My GCMS notes show I was approved and have COPR since 2nd October 2020 but no PPR yet.

Under "Finalize Application" is COPR issuance on 2nd October

Really wish they would send out PPR's to outlanders. I am desperate to move!

I'm in the same boat as you. I can already see the COPR number in my GCMS notes. so far they opening date is April 21st, but I'm a little skeptical that they will open. I really really really hope they let us travel soon. I have a job lined up but I'm scared my employer will not wait that long.

I wonder why they don't start eligibility for CEC outlands early...from what I've read so far, they start security and BG first.

Hey all, Am also in same boat. Not sure why is it taking lot of time for them to start PPR for outlanders(At least CEC). My wife had to do medicals again as it was nearing expiry and today I saw the new medicals has been passed in portal. Hoping to get PPR soon.
