CEC outland applicant... can I send passport from within Canada?

I have applied for CEC from outside of Canada.

I applied on June 25, 2019 and got AoR the same day. They asked for biometrics July 30, then for PoF Sept 29 and for a new medical Oct 15 (as I had a medical that was about to expire Nov 4) and then they asked for payslips from CA employer on Oct 29. It says "Estimated remaining processing time: 44 Day(s)".

I want to visit my partner in Canada as a tourist in December. In case I get PPR while in Canada as a tourist can I send my passport from within Canada given that I am an outland applicant?

If I get the PPR request is there a timeframe limit in which I have to send my passport in?

you need to request cic to change your VO to send in the passport in Canada. You have 30 days to get submit your passport.
