I didn't know the tracker could show "In progress". I thought the only options were Passed or not started. Good to know! Does the tracker show when the eligibility started?

Security hasn't started when I called on January 20 and was passed on January 31 (criminality was already passed as well)

Yes tracker shows when it started. My background check is in progress as per tracker, however, agent said criminality is done and security is left.
how long could that take?

I also got a GU ( BG check completed) but nothing changed on the GC portal

This is very interesting, thanks for the info. So it means that when it says 'not started' it doesn't mean that actually hasn't started.

Hey Everyone, I got an email from IRCC today that confirms my approval for PR. Honestly, the email seems to be fishy although it is from a @cic.gc.ca address.
Can someone help me with the process once you receive this email? They're asking for details like UCI, entry date in Canada, etc.

I've heard U.S histrory or any other FCC country (UK, Australia or New Zealand) can make info sharing take longer and it's honestly making me somewhat uneasy. I've visited the U.S once in the past but my visa was approved on first try and I never got any rejections. Not sure how slow it makes the process though. My AOR is November 12, and some people with same date & VO have gotten approvals. Has anyone who has previously visited the U.S and applied in October/November gotten their approvals or completed info sharing? Please share
