Yep, and they still can return your application for example because of wrong scan of police certificate. (I knew a case when they declined because of it 75 days after AOR before all other steps)

Ya they should perform initial checks within a defined timeframe and not simply reject an application after waiting for 3months. Ppl are on temporary permits with an expiration date.

Oh, man, even if only this... I applied with LMIA, so my employer even can not rise my salary, because we will need to redo LMIA. Each month for me cost a lot

Thanks for sharing and congratulations for the update! Actually I'm not worrying about the timeline now. Because I'm going to leave Canada next week and it's impossible to get the portal 1 email before that anyway. I'm just trying to figure out if I can re-enter Canada with W-1 TRV as a visitor in the future. I thought it's a common topic but failed to search for an answer online...
