CEC NOC Skill B job Sub cap limit

Hi everyone,

I am planing to apply software tester, and I am eligible for CEC category. I wonder whether there is still sub cap for CEC NOC Skill B.

For CEC, A maximum of 12 000 new applications will be received for processing each year, and a sub cap of 200 applications will be applicable to any occupation classified under NOC skill level B. (Reference: www cicsnews com)

Try looking on the actual cic website, you are referring to a third party there.

No caps at the moment for CEC in express entry.

Thanks for quick reply, I am trying to look for more information online. But most of them were in 2014. Probably I need to call them to confirm.

All of the info is dated 2014 as there are no caps in the express entry system. If you meet the requirements for cec you can apply.

Thanks for your share. It is true that no cap limit while we enter the entry express system, however, if you are under CEC, it should have cap limit and certain condition for the second round selection.

There are no NOC specific quotas in Express Entry as yet.

I Just wonder there is anyone using NOC skill B job title here. Maybe we can share our status here.

I apply NOC 2283 software tester and currently get 395 points. At the same time I am waiting for my second IELTS mark to improve my point.
