GTA or Ontario will have a lot more candidates than Van. It really should be a nationwide movement.
 
Hi Megan,

Thanks for taking time to know our concerns. Yes, our applications are not being processed in a timely manner. CIC is extending the processing time instead of processing our applications. They are taking more than 15 months to process and we are on the edge of loosing our jobs. Bridging Work permits also getting delayed and due to this our status is getting changed from work permit to implied state- which can effect our jobs. If an express entry candidate is able to complete all his background checks and PR in 6 months why should we wait for our background checks for 10- 12 months?. yes we know CEC has a different timeframe but still we need a fair share. just because we applied in CEC doesnot mean that our applications are not worthy, we are as eligible as express entry candidates. Please let CIC know our grief through you so that they can understand that CEC applicants are waiting

No, not on TV. All will be treated confidentially

Megan says "Please get in touch via email if you are located in Vancouver or BC". That's why I say Vancouver.

Although I am in Toronto, I have sent her a letter about my situation.

Yeah location doesn't matter since we're facing the same issue.
 
This is exactly what we need at this moment. Respect for Megan Batchelor. All of our application files are qualified and yet are not getting processed properly. Indeed it is the only thing that adversely affecting my life and future in Canada - if that future still exists. My job, my career, my family, my monthly charity donations, and my pet's fate are solely depend on it.
 
Why only in BC ?


The unexpected waiting is brutal for people's tolerance. day after day, there is still no light shed on the end.

Just Because of CIC's arbitrary , chaos, low efficiency, all of us have to suffer this.

Is the procedure itself respectful ? no, it is full with applicator's complain , pain, silence argue .

Maybe current situation is the best CIC can arrive , however , who can explain why two French Oct CEC 2014 applications jumped to front of the whole queue?

It is unfair. we know but we can't argue with it .

CIC have no rule for themselves .

But they have a dozens of laws blocked you out of the door.
 
same situation here July 28, 2014 and no MR yet. i applied with spouse and everything is about to expire ( work permit ) my job wot renew my contract unless i have stable status in Canada....really frustration situation :(
