Hi everyone, was thinking of giving IRCC a call today to get some more detail on the status of my application. Any advice on key questions to ask them to get a better picture of my timeline?

AOR March 12
MEP April 17

Review of eligibility - We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results - April 17, 2019 You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents - We do not need additional documents.
Interview - You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics - We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check - We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision - Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

I recommend asking these questions:

Update on eligibility, criminality, security. Are they passed?
What is my visa processing centre?

Criminality: In progress
Security: Not started

Any one have any insight into the "Review required" status?

Others can explain better but from what I observed on discussion forums, there are two wordings, recommended pass

You need to order GCMS notes OR call them again, and ask more info on what is wrong about eligibility. Something like: "Are there any concerning notes?"

did u notice any change in your cic account ?
i noticed a change under application status , now it says Make sure you read your messages and take action....... but before it was something like You may not hear from us for a while.....

Make sure you read your messages and take action when we ask you to. This will help move the application process along.
