Did anyone call cic these days? There is apparently some issue on finding applications on the system and when I wait to talk with the agent, it always says that I should try later and they cannot even place me in queue. And it’s funny this happens to me at any time of day I’m calling and for both my applications (starting with E and EP).
Does anyone know what is the best time to call them at least to be placed into the call queue?
Just called the CIC today. Yes there is an issue on finding application. But luckily able to contact customer service agent.
This is my current application status.
CEC - 2 Dependent
AOR : 28 Mar 2019
Medical passed - May 13
Criminality - Passed
Eligibility - Recommended Passed
Background / Security - Not started.
I would like to seek feedback or any inputs that would help me understand where do I stand in terms of my application processing:
ITA : Mar 6 2019
E-AOR: Mar 14 2019
Medicals Passed: Apr 23 2019
***Additional documents requested: RCMP Criminal Check (Finger Prints)
**RCMP Letter uploaded on Apr 29 2019
Since then I have no update on my application. Here are my questions:
i) How do we know - centre where the application is being processed or about the vo?
ii) Any specific time range for the update after uploading the RCMP doc?
iii) My friends have similar profile as mine no different only single applicant, lived only in canada and applied through CEC but they did not got RCMP request. Why is that - any idea?
iv) NO Ghost updates or whatever on my profile so what is my status IP1 or IP2 or IP3?
v) Do I need to call IRCC to ask them if they received my document that I uploaded?
(I tried calling them for past few days but had no luck - the systems says high volume of calls and cannot transfer)
I sincerely appreciate your suggestions/advise/replies. Please share your experience as it will help me a lot and others who may are in same situation.
My Eligibility is 'Under Review' or ' Review Required' status in CIO SYDNEY, called CIC today. Anybody in same boat or experienced same? I'm skeptical my application would be prolonged now security not started as well. Share your insights please.
I bought two xpresspost envelopes/parcels one big one small(return envelope)
I put my passport, signed Annex A (comes in PPR email), Photographs and return envelope (for them to return my passport )
In the bigger envelope and send to address mentioned in PPR email
And they ask not to fill any address on the return envelope
Hope it helps anybody who reads
Any question please feel free to ask
Got a lot of help from these forums during this journey and would love help others
Same status and same visa office but with AOR March 1st. Everything passed but security is ongoing for more than 1 month as well. Highly suspect they throw people in security screening randomly.

Welll... My eligibility it not even passed yet... Called them last week it's still recommended passed. Agent told "eligibility is almost done"... I think i'm still in line for a senior officer to finally pass eligibility... It's been 2 months since recommended passed. NO movement. Security not event started... 11 weeks left until deadline. Not even sure when they will look into my file.
