Submitted old medicals for both me and my dependents as I had previously applied under TR to PR pathway.

what do we upload for proof of funds as CEC applicant

When I clicked on the help button next to that, I read we need a document from the bank containing information about your accounts with the bank. My bank told me it is called a " Statement of Good Standing". You can request one from your bank. I combined the statement of good standing with three of my most recent paystubs and my letter of employment.

You dont need to upload anything for proof of funds just mention you have been invited under CEC so you do not require to submit proof of funds.
also, in your profile when it asks " how much money would you bring when coming to canada?" mention "0". Then automatically the proof of funds requirement will not appear in the list of documents. Later on you can explain the same in letter of explanation.
