I dont think that there is tread for CEC with LMIA right now...but we can create one since I think that processing time will go up now and I am not sure how many applicants there is with LMIA right now...

Seems like i am the only CEC inland from Sep left on this forum.... no movement since Nov 18th.
Have ordered 3 GCMS notes since then last one be here by 4/5 of May.

My Background check went "in progress"

My Timeline

ITA - NOV 27 (CEC Inland, No LMIA/PNP)
AOR - Dec 9
Background Check in Progress - 26th April. (Got update from Consultant)


I am just worried, as there is no email or anything yet.

Any Idea what they do in Background check? Whole file check or police/medical.

I got my ITA on April 6th, I had 483 points. I am CEC Inland- No LMIA/NO PNP.

Submitted my ePR on May 4th
Got my AOR same day May 4th.
Review of eligibility is in progress
Rest of the things are at- NOT needed at this time.
Hopefully they will do Medical Review soon, they have been changing the medical statuses very fast for people but mine is still at stand still.

Good luck to all that are waiting for PPR. Waiting time is the WORST!.

Waiting is the worst indeed. My Medical changed 10 days after, so you might expect a change too.
