You are most welcome. Yes you can apply for both together. Just state that you have a dependent and online application would automatically include the forms needed.

Though for a child under 6, it is usually a temporary resident visa with visitor record (meaning it is not restricted to six months of stay). If a child is 6+, usually it is an open study permit.

Sent them in Friday; waiting for them to come back.

Hey Guys! I received an email from CIC this morning giving me instructions re sending my passport to the visa office. Nothing has changed on my online application. I might be a bit paranoid but how do I know it is not a scam? And does that mean that my PR has been granted?

1. I started applying for open work permit extension for my wife and have got online forms like IMM5710E for extension. So issue is like for extending open work permit which option to select? Since she is not attached with any employer....

2. How to add my 4 year old daughter to this application for her status extension ? or Do I need to create a separate application? - Please guide me.

CIC requested RCMP for me today.
Have an appointment with local police on Monday for Prints. Hopefully this does not delay it by much.

Surprised that they already are looking into my background (they haven't even confirmed eligibility yet).

PS: I can not login to ECAS using anything I have, Tech support has been useless, they told me to use myCIC as it updates faster.
Already ordered Case Notes to see whats going on.

Got my RCMP Check Yesterday and uploaded it to CIC.
A week turn around is quite good for RCMP.
