When mine time change I didn't received any email either.

I Think it is an automated process. it changes automatically when week changes.

Is manual, i ready that a several times now.
And with the "time of process" you are not notice, so no email.
Mine went from 0 to 04 months and than change to 17 weeks so far.
I take it as good news, someone is working on your process.

Hello all!

I'm still trying to understand the categories and all, here is my timeline:

• CEC, inland, from US
• AOR: December 15
• Currently at IP2 I think...
• All showes A-OK, except background check (processing) and eligibility (reviewing)

Showing that I have 3 more months to go...does that sounds right???

Congratulations. Can you please share the different updates you saw throughout your process. Did they frequently update your file? or rarely update it and just sent you ppr when all was done?

It looks like cic updates different applications in different ways some see updates, some don't and it gets confusing and you wonder whether they are even working on you application.

I got another update on my “Estimated remaining time”, no e-mail sent as usual.

CRS score: 508 points
Inland, Vancouver, BC
Nationality: Brazil

ITA – 29 Oct 2018 – for CEC (Canadian Experience Class)
Upload documents – 22 Dec 2018
AOR – 22 Dec 2018
MEP – 06 Feb 2019 (You have passed the medical exam)
IP2 – 08 Feb 2019 (Background check changes to "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."

“Estimated remaining time” updates:
O months – Dec 22 2018
04 month – Feb 06 2019
17 weeks – Feb 25 2019
16 weeks – March 04 2019

I read in several places that the “Estimated remaining time” is not automatic per week or month, which is ok and makes sense..
Now, I really wish I could know what phase my process is, like what they are doing and why they choose to update my “Estimated remaining time”
They pretty much updated my “Estimated remaining time” 03 times now with the same time frame….

Any thoughts?
I also have lots of international trips on my background….maybe because of that is taking more time to analyze my process?
Super anxious over here tho….

I really believe it is automatic. I called CIC last week and knew that my application was not touched since the MEP while the bar moved each day

What kind of update they do over the phone? What do they tell you? I thought they did not give information or update before the 06 month of processing time....which phone number did you use?

I asked about the status update, they said nothing completed except the medical. I asked if the others (i.e. criminality, security,....) are in process. He told me nothing started yet and nothing moved since the Medical. I showed my concern, he said "you still in the first 3 months and our processing is 6 months"
