Hi,
Stuck at criminality step since October 7th as my biometrics were submitted on that day.
Called in several times till today, No update whatsoever
I have completed RCMP too.
Do you receive a notification saying that you need to get RCMP fingerprint checks once biometrics are done and it gets to that stage? I'm applying under FSW and am wondering if there's anyway I can get the RCMP check prepared (or at least an appointment booked) in advance?

No notification of any type
As soon as I received my ITA
I gave RCMP fingerprints and Medical as not to wait for request of IRCC
However not sure if inland applicants are required to submit RCMP

Interesting, it wasn't on my list of documents to prepare or include in my application. I had to send through a police check from the Australian Federal Police, maybe that replaced the requirement for the RCMP.
Anyone know biometrics is use for Criminality or Security check? I gave biometrics on Oct 14th, called IRCC today, get:
- Criminality: passed
- Security: not started

From what I read Criminality is done with the Police Clearance Certificates (PCC) provided and Security involves many agencies such as the CSIS, INTERPOL, etc. So I'd say biometrics are used in the Security step.
