CEC apply in NOV 2014

Hello friends

I am collecting all my documents for application of CEC. I think I can apply by first week of nov. As from jan CEC is getting closed. Is it too late to apply ? does it have any risk of last dates like postal time etc.. please advice.

Who is also planning to apply in Sept/Oct/Nov 2014 for CEC. Please post your comments/advice/experience here. This will help in removing any doubts for last minute submissions. thanks

All the current Federal Program will be in place after January 2015, it's just the Express Entry program which will be started and applied to all the federal programs.

Yes correct , but according to me the express entry Framework will make all federal programs into same level , whereas in current system I feel CEC hold an edge comparatively with other programs .

In express entry a common pool will be created for all and then based on canadian labour requirement you get chance to apply for PR.

Candidates will be ranked against others in the pool. Only the highest-ranked candidates (those deemed to have the best chances for economic success), and those with qualifying offers of arranged employment or provincial/territorial nominations, will be invited to apply for permanent residence.

u r right.
Now u will be offered by employer based on ur skill if it is in demand, so all will be equal, its mostly luck if u get offer from Canadian Employr.

I'm having trouble understanding this point. The requirement for CEC is to HAVE one year experience. If you don't you're not eligible.

So with the express entry if you HAVE experience but you dont have job or job offer at the time you're applying your application won't be considered?

this is very simple..
You fill your skill in a pool.
If employer has demand for your skill he will ask canada govt for your PR.
Now you get chance to apply for canada PR.
else your name will get struck off after one year and you need to apply again in pool.
