called an agent today she told me applicantion is going really great. Eligibility passed medical passed criminality passed doing security checks. But online it still show eligibility in review and background check is in process. Does anyone know how long for portal after receipt check ?

I got a GU yesterday. However, my status still states as below:
AOR - 12 June
Medicals - we reviewing the results of your medical exam (this started since 11 July)
Biometrics - Updated (11 July) at the top but not completed
BG - We are processing....
GU - 12 Aug

My spouse can't do her X-ray till November after delivery. However, I sent her old medical result (used for work permit) to IRCC last week friday through webform.

Since GU usually comes in after medicals passed and biometrics updated, pls does anyone know what the GU I got yesterday mean?

Got 2nd GU today without email notification. No change in BG yet.

My upfront medical was done in December 2019 as part of my work permit application. Do I need to again submit upfront medical exam or I can use the same from 2019? ( I am in Canada from Feb 2020 & received ITA under CEC)

You medical is only valid for 6 months so I believe you have to do another one.

Please wait for some more time. Its just over two months. i didn't want to discourage you. But there are many single applicant waiting long time.

I personally know 5 persons from March 1st week AOR, single applicant with no travel history still waiting for COPR.

As IRCC says every application is unique.

There will be no email notification for GU. that's why its called as "GHOST"

AS far as GU is concerned 1. It don't happen in all applications(still application moves ahead) 2. there are fake GU as well 3. Real GU - we can definitely know there is some movement

GU or not, you application is still moving. Why its happening for some and not for some All I know is depends on VO.- But its a Question for IRCC for sure.
