I called IRCC today, after 7 tries, I was able to connect to the agent. Got the info that medical, Security has passed, info sharing is in process and criminality hasn’t started yet, and told me that everything on my file is on time (MY FILE IS IN PROCESSING FOR 8 MONTHS)when the visa officer will work on my file again they will update if they need additional information.
Surprisingly last time when I called them, the agent told me that criminality has passed, and security hasn’t started yet. I am surprised why they said that.

When I called last week I was told the same thing that medical and security is passed but criminality hasn’t started yet and eligibility is in progress. Not really sure if that’s right so I’m waiting for my notes to be sure.

The application backlog has exceeded over 1.8 million in December 2021.
this is not good we are waiting from last 8 months and they are mentally and emotionally torturing us.
If they cannot process the existing applications why they are taking new applications, just to torture them like they are torturing us.
