Hi, how did you contact. Whenever I call, the call gets dropped, with an automated response that due to high volume of calls we are unable to connect you with the agent.
Is Montreal your Primary VO? or Is it your Local Visa Office?
Primary VO is the visa office that processes major portions of your application.
Montreal would be your local visa office in case you live in Montreal or in nearby cities. And usually people get portal emails from Local Visa Office (not always).
Hi @zhan1362 ,
From your GCMS notes, do you know when your file got transferred to Montreal VO? and what was the reason for transfer? (Reason for transfer would generally be workload (re-)distribution, but there are other theories for file being transferred to Montreal like if one has answered 'Yes' to any Stat question or if the application is complex).

Gcms notes show file was transferred to Montreal office on Mar 8 and reason is workload(re-) distribution. I don’t think my application is complex, I am in Canada since 2012 and I don’t have any dependents. But one of question i answered was Yes, not sure if that is the case.

[People with Primary VO: Montreal]
Hey guys,
For those of you who have their GCMS notes, do you guys know if your application got transferred to Montreal VO because of answering "Yes" to any Stat question or your application was "complex application" (not sure about parameters to define an application as complex. But let's assume Single applicant/No criminal record/Canadian Education/No or Low travel history = Simple) or was it just "workload distribution"?
I am trying to understand if earlier experiences of people with applications being transferred to Montreal VO still hold true or not?
