Need help regarding portal email.

My wife and I received portal email. So, do both of us need to reply the email? I replied yesterday and mentioned to have single account for both of us and choose OPTION A. What is the next steps?

Called IRCC today (Aug 19, 2021) at 8:18 am. Agent advised security not started. Same status from May 31, 2021. Everything passed except security not started. AOR April 3, 2021. She also said security takes months to process, in excess of 6 months. So technically we can wait until Feb 2022 for COPR.

Agent was very rude and told me nothing has changed since you called last time. Our office will contact you.

Same here. Agent made me feel hopeless. Said application can take until 2022. That's my last call. I'll just leave it in process. They can go until 2030. I dnt care. I'll be relaxing in my home country in the meantime . Heck by the time I receive COPR might no longer need it

Finally got the 1st email from IRCC to confirm my details. I just have a few question
1. Me (principal applicant) and my spouse (dependant) received the same email. Do we have to reply from both of our email or I will just give reply from my email that we will choose option B
2. Is there any difference in time delay if we choose option B instead of option A?

I am at the same stage and facing same confusion. I chose option A and replied back from my email id( received emails by me and wife though).

Please let me know, if you overcome this thing?

Hi,
I replied from email (principal applicant) choosing Option B. I will wait a day or two to see any response from IRCC. If not, then will send the same email from my dependent's email.

Please let me know here if you get response from IRCC and I will do the same. Best of luck!
