Same for me, I had my Biometrics in Nov-2019 and now I can see the number and bio expiration on my profile and same message since two weeks ago.

Recently gave my biometrics and that's what it says on mine as well. You should be fine as long as it's not expired.

I wish I had your patience. My anxiety makes so hard not to check a couple times every week day even if I am aware that is very unlikely for me to get any news soon

I've been reading about people with earlier aor calling ircc to get an update about their eligibility and background check. Has anyone tried doing that? How long should I wait before trying to give them a call?

You can call anytime but my suggestion is to avoid calling multiple times. They keep a log of your requests and might consider suspicious if you are inquiring a lot unnecessarily. I will personally wait three months after my AOR to get some info and just call a second time in case the PR processing time exceeds 6 months

Hi Everyone,

So I'm currently located in Canada, and I have submitted my CEC application by the end of March 2021 (along with all the documents necessary). I understand that the process will take approx 6 months till I get my PR. However, my Post Graduation Work Permit is expiring very soon (at the beginning of October 2021) so does my Temporary Resident Visa.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, I heard from someone that we have to maintain a legal status in Canada until we get our PR, otherwise, the IRCC might potentially reject our PR application if we don't have a legal status in Canada (eg. visa & bridging open work permit). That said, can anyone advise me what I should do if I still don't have my PR ready? Should I apply for a bridging open work permit and Temporary Resident Visa? so that way I won't lose my legal status in Canada. I'm really confused about the rules and how to go about it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I think you are eligible for Bridge work permt also

For medicals we have not got any email it is a ghost update.

you get an email if there's any update or new messages in for your application. In email they don't specify what exactly has been updated
