After the last update on my file being moved to RROC, my background check status has changed from "We will let you know when we start your background check" to " We are processing your background check".

May I know which stage I am and does it give me positive sign about my file moving?

1st call to IRCc on 18th May to get below info
VO: Sydney, application is still in progress
Below ghost update 19th May 2021
Review of additional documents: not applicable
2nd Call to IRCC on 27th May 2021 to check if we need to submit my spouse new passport...
3rd call to IRCC on 18th June 2021 for below update: eligibility passed, background not started and VO is Ottawa
Next ghost update 30th June 2021 On background status change
1st portal related email on 8th July
Portal Credentials received on 9th July
eCOPR on 10th July

Thanks Brother I will try that way.

One suggestion- even if you don't get a chance to talk to them at the start of the day, try calling at different times of the day. I did that. And I was able to speak with an agent when I tried in the afternoon.

Yes I called them last Monday but that time BG status was still the same. It changed 2-3 days after my call to them.

This is not a GU. This is a technical glitch. It happened almost to everyone in past couple of minutes.

I called IRCC and the agent that my BG not started and in my profile it's "We are processing"

It changed back to processing this week. It was in 'not started' stage prior to that.

Please I need advise on my situation.
I am on OWP (spousal sponsorship) expiring on July 31, 2021
I was also eligible for Public policy for essential worker and I have submitted my PR though waiting for approval.
recently I got invitation for PR via CEC and I immediately applied the same day my ITA came.
My IELT test date is June 29 and my result date is July 10
I have also applied for BOWP
my question is , if my BOWP is approved, can I request for refund of my CEC PR application fees since I have PR for another stream under processing.
