That's what I thought as well, but something is definitely wrong. My profile has not been updated since April 17th. Is there a way to check and see what's wrong. Do I need to include more work experience?
If you want to gamble that the VO will make an error in your favour, go ahead and apply. Otherwise, decline the ITA; you will stay in the pool and get another ITA; then you can be sure that you are eligible.
The problem isn't the points - you're allowed to keep the CRS points for the Canadian work experience as long as you submit your eAPR after you have completed the year.
You apparently would have qualified under FSW (which is how your profile was accepted), but now you will be automatically assessed for CEC class, and you have to have the MEQ (one year of eligible experience) at the time of the ITA.
Have people managed to slide through? Yes. But many have also been refused. So it is your choice, if you can wait until June when you actually complete a year, that is the "best" (most secure) way. (To ensure no confusion, you can remove your Canadian experience from the system until it is eligible).
Thank god I stumbled upon this thread! I am in the same position as op, reach 1 year SKilled work June 1 on the dot, but i got the May 23rd ITA @ 512. I have declined it today, but have everythign ready to go for the next one! Good luck to all! best to play it safe
Although applicants have indeed gone through without completing a year of work experience, other applicants have received a nice rejection letter for not meeting the MEC at the time of the invitation.
I'm in the same situation. I started to work on September 21, 2016. I know on August 1 my points will increase(They will count 2 years work experience) and I will receive the invitation. Should I wait to submit the documents?

This is not the same situation. In the OP's case, the increase affected how the MEC was calculated. In your case, it affects the CRS score, not your eligibility for CEC.
MEC must be met at the time of the ITA.
CRS points - must be above the threshold for the draw at the time you submit your eAPR.
hello! can somebody explain to me how CEC is being calculated? i completely understand the minimum entry requirements for CEC. Provided i have met all these but my CRS score is still lets say 380 and these days, the min. score should be 440++ CRS in order to get ITA.
So even if i met all the requirements and didn't get the required min, CRS (which is 440++), does it mean i wont get an ITA?

Yes - that's right, this means you will not get an ITA. You must meet all of the requirements and also have a score high enough to be selected (right now that's 440+).
