Hi, sorry to hear about the rejection. When did u get the rejection? Did they give u a reason for rejection? And had u applied for winter or fall intake 2018?

I think this year the admissions are quite competitive. I got rejection from Dalhousie just a week back for winter 18.
They just mentioned that there were lot of applications and limited seats. Whereas I was always told by few friends of mine who are in Canada that Dalhousie is a safer bet compared to UOttawa. So after getting rejection from dal, not very hopeful about UOttawa as well now.

Last week i got the rejection and i mail them for reason of rejection and they replied me back with the same reason as urs. For winter or fall intake 2018,nope bro i have not appled yet

Never heard a rejection from Dalhousie.
I have got refusal from ottawa last month and when i mailed them for reason. They gave a shitty response:
Good morning Jagandeep,
Our admissions committee has carefully reviewed your application. Although you meet the minimum program requirements, the program has a limited enrollment. It receives a large number of applications. Unfortunately, your application was not competitive enough to be selected.
