Hello,
I have applied for the Master of Engineering: Mechanical, term: Summer 2018, on 24th August 2017 (Approx 6 months ago).
Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering
Admission status: "Review in progress by department" (changed from "Preliminary review required", 3 weeks ago)
When should I expect to receive the offer of admission ??

Applied for Study permit on 1st February, with offer letter from an another university. (will change to Carleton U, after receiving the offer of admission.)
IELTS O-7.0 bands (L-7.5, R-7, S-6.5, W-6.0)
Bachelor of Engineering: Mechanical - 7.65 CGPA

I think carleton only offers addmission for September or Jan intake .they only offer it for May intake if u are going to study with supervisor .

That is not mandatory... previously, my consultant has got many students admitted for the summer term.

Man...I was refused by Carleton
Took them about 7 months!

Yup only for independent study.

hi, I had applied for M. Eng, in December, and my status is still stuck at Review in progress by department". and its been almost 30-40 days,
any idea how long will it take to come to a decision.

Hi Guys, I applied for PhD in Sociology to Carleton. My Status has changed to "recommended for assessment" since February 16. I understand that the University's administrative staff has just recently resumed from strike. Could that be why the decision is taking this long?
