Anyone else applied for Carleton - or joint program with/from OttawaU for this September (2016)?
Please post your qualifications and status here
Mine is "Review in progress by department". Anyone have any idea how long this part takes or if i should ask if they are moving me to winter application for 2017 (since its late already and the visa takes time and Carleton requires your original transcripts or something from your former university to be sent - and this would take another month for me since I am from Romania)
Any company / info from people in the same boat dearly appreciated!
Thanks
PS: if desired we can make a WatsApp group! just ask
I'm about to apply to Carleton for a master in CS. I asked 3 of my former professors at college to give me a reference letter and turns out all of them accepted to provide me a letter. One of them also told me to find a really good sample of letter and send to him, because he wants to make the best letter possible in order to increase my odds. My question is, have you or anyone here a good sample letter of reference to send me, please?

They are forms. He doesn't have to write a letter. Carleton sends the profs forms and they fill them out. The last question implies opinions about you, how you did in his class, if he knows your passions, to describe you as a student and a person. so a short paragraph or two about how you two worked together
MASc is a thesis course. So, ome should find a potential supervisor before applying to the university and if u find one then the admission offer is for sure.. but if u dont find one its bit tough.. scenario for MEngg if different(no need of supervisor). yeah i applied for manitoba and got rejection.. waiting from uoit since i have an approval from faculty i might get an admit but my low grades might be an issue.
