hello,
I currently live in Canada and work as a child caregiver. I have an Open work permit, and my husband has a study permit.
my question is, I will complete 2 years of full time work as a child caregiver in few months, I have a CLB 9 and a master degree.
I can apply to receive Permanent residency under the caring for children class?
Do I need a LMIA in order to do that, or i can apply only using my 2 year experience, even if by the time I apply I dont work in child care anymore?
the cic website is very confusing and i cant find anybody who did this, only people who used the live in caregiver program. so everybody tells me i need a LMIA. do i really need one?
