CAP reached

Hello everybody,

need to know something. Once the cap is reached (for General Practitioners more specifically, as I fall under this occupation), do I have any chances to apply later on? I mean, are they gonna remove an occupation from the list if the cap for this occupation is reached?

Yes, I'm definitely going to apply until July 1st (I know about the changes they're gonna make) but am not sure whether there're gonna open another 500 application for the occupations which cap is already reached... or they're gonna remove it from the list ???

They just announced that all occupations will stay on the list as it is and new caps will start at zero on July 1st. Are you ready to apply now? If not, I suggest you start your paperwork now. A lot of people are waiting and who knows how fast the cap of 500 will fill up.
