can't check online status now

I was just trying to check our application status but the website says the information is not avaible. I've checked the info may times before and this is the first time I encoutered that. Does this mean our application is in trouble ?
We submitted our application in Feb 2012, and the case is still pending in Beijing embassy, and we haven't receive any update from Beijing since Sept 2012. I'm very worried now, tryingt to call the CIC but can't get through to an agent.

Cic Ecas is down, its been down for more than a week now. Some can access theirs and some cannot. I haven't been able to log in for 9 days now. Some people even called the call center and email them to inquire and they just told them its a system maintenance, so you have nothing to worry about.

your application is not in trouble. Ecas has been down for almost 2 weeks, it works for some applicants, but doesn't work for quite a lot of people.
So don't worry - you're OK.

When it's universally down, it's a server/maintenance issue but when it happens individually, it probably means an update to the status
