Canadian Study permit for the foreigners studying out of their home country

I am PhD student outside my home country in South Korea. I have recently applied for a new position at a Canadian University because I am not happy with my condition here. I am wondering whether I have to withdraw my current position and scholarship before applying for the Canadian study permit? I am really confused and it would be great if someone could give me feedback in this concern.

You dont need to withdraw. You will need to satisfy immigration that you are not a risk of becoming an illegal in canada & will be going back to your home country after completing studies, this is often difficult to show when you dont even live in your home country.

Do you think a letter from my previous working place (a pharmaceutical company) in which they confirm their interest in having me for a specific position after graduation from Canadian university would be helpful? Would it be a barrier If I include my spouse (for OWP) in my application of study permit?

Hello Radin, My names is Rehema and I'm currently in Dubai.I just read your post and i understand that you have been a student in Canada already. Same as you're looking for help I'm just wondering if I'm able to get help from you too with finding school in Canada for me or a joj because I'm interested in migrating to Canada and I was asked to get a school or job and the immigration will be able to process me through.. at the cause of trying to find these, I only get fake job offers from people and such and even school admissions all fake.. I am sorry Rehema, I am not in Canada yet, I just applied for a position and asked the guys in this forum to help me with the visa application process based upon their personal experience.
