Al right so I had couple of questions.
I am a Canadian Citizen and a student. I'd like to bring my fiancée to Canada . Since we are a bit young we haven't gotten married yet, I'm 21 she's 22. We want to live together and start a life together but this distance is very frustrating, and hard on us. So I was wondering If there is any possibility for me to bring her over to Canada. I'm not sure where I heard this from but, I have to have at least 30 thousand dollars income a year to be able to sponsor someone? I think I got it right
all answers are greatly appreciated
There is no minimum income requirements to sponsor a partner. However in order to sponsor her you must either be married or common law (common law = have lived together for at least one full year). Canada has no fiance/fiancee sponsorship class.
Is she eligible for applying for working holiday? If so, that would be good way to stay together and see the relationship is really strong. Sponsorship requires financial commitment for 3 years after PR is granted/she has landed for yourself and your spouse/partner, even though you do not need for minimum income at the time of application. During the process she won't be able to work in Canada unless she is granted work permit.
