Canadian PR divorced abroad, again married abroad

Canadian PR got divorced abroad while he was a resident there. He again got married there. Now he came back to Canada and wants to sponsor his wife. Does he need his foreign divorce to be authorized in Canada first for being able to sponsor his wife?

There no such thing, really. Just providing copies of foreign divorce docs.

Since you were able to remarry (assuming country with no polygamy), that would also be evidence divorce recognised in that country.

I should have noted - check the country specific requirements. There are specific requirements for some countries, true also for marriage certificates etc.

But that's not about getting it recognised in Canada but proving it was a valid divorce in the other country.

FOREIGN DIVORCES MUST BE TRANSLATED TO ENGLISH IN THE CASE IS NOT , I WOULD HIGLY RECOMMEND TO TAKE YOUR DIVORCE CERTIFICATE AND GET A LEGAL LETTER OF OPINION FROM A LAWYER TO SUPPORT THAT THE DIVORCE INDEED WAS LEGAL AND MUST BE RECOGNIZED IN CANADA, LAWYERS CHARGE ABOUT 200-250 FOR THAT BECAUSE YOU ALREADY GOT MARRIED OUTSIDE CANADA IS NOT MANDATORY BUT IS BETTER TO MAKE YOUR APPLICATION STRONG ENOUGH THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY DOUBT , BECAUSE IF YOU ARE SPONSORING YOUR SPOUSE IN THE DOCUMENT CHECK LIST ASK YOU IF YOU WERE MARRY BEFORE AND TO SUBMIT DOCUMENTATION THAT YOU GOT LEGALLY DIVORCED BEFORE YOU MARRIED AGAIN,

You have to go to the same page where you get the sponsorship package and enter the relevant country:
https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/spouse.asp

Seems there are no specific instructions for Bangladesh. Note, forms must be in English or French. No translation needed if original official docs in English.

Personally I do not believe needed to go to a lawyer for this as others may suggest, but up to you. In practice, good to check with other applicants from Bangladesh about their experience.

PR must also be compliant with their RO to sponsor again and if sponsored by a previous spouse can only sponsor again 5 years after landing.
