The IRCC at oath told that after receiving the certificates check both sides of the certificate for any errors.

If there is any errors contact them immediately. I have sent them mail, but no reply. what to do now?

Thanks

So do you see an error in your Citizenship certificate? like in DOB or name, etc?

@navid2014 Did you apply for CAN Passport, what is your name in that?

What is ur name on IN PP and Surrender certificate

On Canadian PP: First Name: John & Last Name: Carter

On Indian PP: First Name/Given Name: John Carter and Last Name: BLANK

On Surrender Certificate: John Carter (Full Name)

OCI (Applied): First Name: John & Last Name: Carter

Name is old name although submitted relevant proofs

Apart from you I have read someone in the forum reported about submitting all necessary proof during Oath Ceremony and Citizenship certificate was still printed with the old name.

On Canadian PP: First Name: John & Last Name: Carter

On Indian PP: First Name/Given Name: John Carter and Last Name: BLANK

On Surrender Certificate: John Carter (Full Name)

OCI (Applied): First Name: John & Last Name: Carter
On Canadian Citizenship Certificate: Is it

First Name: John Carter
Last Name: XXX

On Canadian Citizenship Certificate: Is it

In my case, in the citizenship certificate, taking the above example:

What name did you write on the Canadian Passport application?

Which passport?

What is your name on the Citizenship certificate?

Did you do a legal name change in Canada?

I am surprised reading this thread. My father in law got Canadian Citizenship
where

OLD INDIAN PASSPORT
FAMILY NAME :
GIVEN NAME : Real Name

NEW CANADA PASSPORT
FAMILY NAME : Real Name
GIVEN NAME : XXX

INDIAN OCI CARD
FAMILY NAME : Real Name
GIVEN NAME : XXX

While applying OCI, BLS processed it and no name change certificate, or any other documents was asked.
Hi Siman,

I saw your post about your father-in-law getting an OCI approved with XXX given name. Did he ever travel to India with the OCI and face any issues?
