Of course family because their visa got rejected 3 times and the food what you need for recovery. If it's c section I need more time to heal. Does baby gets Canadian passport to fly back to Canada but for that I need to apply for Citizenship certificate right ? Does Indian government have problems likewise with baby's birth in there ?

Need to apply Canadian Citizenship certificate first and then apply for a limited validity passport. India does not recognize dual citizenship.

If family support, why don't they consider to apply for a super visa?

Need to apply Canadian Citizenship certificate first and then apply for a limited validity passport.

I would check on timing of this with the consular section - in some instances they may accept the two applications together, or (more commonly?) accept a complete copy of the citizenship certificate application as sufficient evidence to issue the limited validity passport. In other words, no need to wait (usually) for the citizenship certificate for the child to be returned, they issue on the basis the child is a presumed citizen.

Also note to the OP: check carefully what documents the child will need to apply for the Canadian passport. Obviously things like birth certificate are needed. It may take more time to obtain the local documents than to wait for the Canadian passport.

Ok, I applied for my daughter's citizenship certificate on 13th March 2024. I received it today on 16th March 2024. If anyone needs more info, let me know and I can help.
Hi, I applied for my 4 month old son for Proof of citizenship and recently got to know about the Limited Validity Passport, I dropped an email to India Consular, they sent a generic email of what documents they need, but they didn't specify how to send these documents to them. Should I email them, or choose any service on VFS for two-way courier or just mail them the documents to India Consular At Delhi. Could you please assist. Also they need Proof of Travel, does that mean they need an itinerary?
