Hi , I am currently waiting to get my one year of work experience. I am on PGWP and received it after graduating with a Canadian MSc degree in 2014.
My Work experience:
Job 1: April 4, 2014- March 6, 2015 (Full time NOC 'C'- doesn't count for CEC)
Job 2: NOC 2211 March 9, 2015- September 4, 2015 (Contract full time-40 hours/week)
Job 2: NOC 2211 October 6, 2015- November 20, 2015 (Casual full time-worked more than 30 hours/week)
Job 3(current): April 4-present (Permanent Full-time 40 hrs/week)
My PGWP is expiring on FEB 19, 2017. How many more months do I require to be eligible to enter the EE pool? I am a masters graduate from Canada with the following CELPIP scores R-10, W-9, L-10, S-8.
based on these criteria, how many points do you think I would get? Do I have a chance of getting invited after one year of experience?
Your feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Try to calculate how many weeks you have worked for these companies combined, it needs to be at least 52 weeks to become eligible for CEC...!!! And make sure to have all the relevant documents to prove all the work experiences...!!! If its 52 weeks then try the "crs points calculator" with one year of Canadian experience, I think from your education and experience you may end up getting somewhere around 435-445 points.
Thank you for your reply, I tried the CRS points calculator and it gives me a score of 457 with 'One Year' work experience. Will the score vary after I enter the details of my work experience?
The following is my score from 'crs points calculator'

If you have completed 52 weeks then you are eligible for express entry, and yes you have good chances to get ITA, though current trend is around 470-475 for getting ITA, but I think it will go down may be anytime in next 2-3 months, So you can expect ITA soon. Best of Luck...!!!
