Canada Landing Funds...Advise required

Hi All, Guru's, Qorax,

I will be doing the canada landing this week. I will be driving from Newyork city, USA to Toronto ON and coming back using the AVR Rule.

Can i show funds in american dollars as bank drafts or TC's or do in need to show in Canadian dollars.

I am planning to take around $18,000 Dollars (3 people...Myself, wife, kid). How much should i take in cash, TC or Bank drafts.

Please advise. Any advise will be appreciated.

yes u can take in usd. take 10% in cash n rest in tc or bank draft

Is Bankers Cheque acceptable as proof of funds.

Also, what is better a Bankers Cheque or Travellers Cheque for 18000 USD. I dont want to loose much money for BC or TC. What are the other best option? I will be depositing the money back to US Bank account once i come back to USA.

Get a cashiers/bankers check. That way you wont lose any money.
