The officially figure is 11,115 CD. For initial application, it could be bank statements, property evaluation etc. Upon landing, officers would like to see you funds (from most pple experience). Not mandatory to carry all that cash though (not wise either) , u cld have part cash, part draft etc. If u carry more than 10k, it needs to be declared. Hey no more questions

u will have to show documents that state u have enough cash in your bank account till u get visa. then u need to take cash to canada with u in any form.
