CANADA IELTS REQUIREMENT

Friends i have scored an overall 7.5 in IELTS [Listening-9,Reading-8.5,Speaking-6,Writing-5.5].
my query is,whether i am eligible for admission in canadian universities or not, as i have got less in writing[5.5],Would that cause any problem in my admission or it doesnot matter if we have less in one individual module?
Friends please help me in this regard!

Yes - it could be a problem. If you are applying for a Bachelors, your IELTS scores should be 6 or above in each category. If you are applying for a Masters, your score should be 6.5 or above in each IELTS category.

but when we see university`s admission requirement page,they only mention about the overall score!

Hi Gaurav,

I have scored 6.5 overall bands with one module 5.5 bands. I am eligible to apply for Parkland College Saskatchewan.

I have a friend in same college. He is applyin for provincial certificate presently.

Saskatchewan is faster way to apply for provincial certificate across Canada.

Business program in Parkland College starts in March 2015. You can check.

I believe the OP is looking to attend university - not college. Colleges have lower admission requirements than universities.

yes it ll effect.u have 6 or above in each. one less ll effect in ur visa application.
