I understand that the purpose of on LMIA/LMO/closed work permit is to provide one with the authorization to work with a certain employer for a certain position.
But with the current situation where LMIA/LMO gives you a much better edge in terms of Express Entry application, it got me thinking as to whether I could even consider applying for an LMO/LMIA when I already have a PGWP which is valid until June 2016?
 
Yes - your employer can still apply for an LMIA.
