Can work permit refusal affect pr application based on the same lmia?

I have created my express entry profile, and I took 50 CRS points for GTS LMIA. My work permit was refused stating weaker ties to my home country. Will the work permit rejection affect my pr application?

It shouldn't affect a PR decision, PR is a completetly different application, but you need to have valid status during pr process.

I am outside Canada. My work permit was refused so I am using that LMIA for express entry.
