Can we extend our work permit on basis of our canadian child

Hi All,

me & my husband are currently on open work permit which expires in 3 months & we still have 5 months of experience left to apply for PR under Express entry.
Can we extend our stay on basis of our child who is a canadian citizen?

No - you can't. Having a Canadian citizen child gives you no benefits.
